Ben Seeley

SAT® AND ACT® SPECIALIST

Ben is our SAT® and ACT® guru, specializing in all sections of both tests. He has 8.5 years of full-time test prep experience, having coached thousands of students to better scores.

He believes test prep doesn’t have to be the drag it’s made out to be and approaches students and subject matter in a warm, collaborative manner that motivates students to do their best.

Heidi Wright

SAT® AND ACT® SPECIALIST

Heidi is our SAT® and ACT® guru, specializing in all sections of both tests. She has 20+ years of full-time test prep experience, having worked with all types of students from those trying to achieve 99th percentile scores to those trying to hit a minimum score for high school graduation. She also has experience working with students with learning differences.

She believes that test prep can be made fun with the right tools and mentality. Students describe her as being warm, enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable.

Haley Seeley

SAT® AND ACT® SPECIALIST

Haley is our SAT® and ACT® guru, specializing in all sections of both tests. She has 10 years of full-time test prep experience, having taught thousands of private tutoring students and hundreds of hours of classes.


She believes that test scores don’t define a student’s worth and that the goal of test prep is to open as many doors as possible for a student’s next chapter. Her tutoring approach is three-pronged: knowledge, confidence, and test-taking strategy. Her students report her as being supportive, flexible, and unique in her approach.

Anna Solomon

SAT® AND ACT® SPECIALIST

Anna is our SAT® and ACT® maven, specializing in all sections of both tests. She has 8 years of full-time test prep experience and has helped students with a variety of goals and learning styles.

She loves talking about test strategies as they apply for each student. The test is a puzzle, and she works with her students to game it! Her favorite compliment is, "That didn't feel like an hour!"

Heather Krey

SAT® AND ACT® SPECIALIST

Heather has 24 years of test prep experience, teaching all sections of both the SAT® and ACT®.

Passionate about helping her students achieve their college dreams by being their coach and cheerleader, Heather is an experienced instructor with teaching certificates in math, physics, chemistry, and English. She knows the best tips and
strategies for these tests – and she also understands that students need encouragement and practice to do their best.

Isabelle Bodkhe

SAT® SPECIALIST

Isabelle is our SAT® Queen Bee, specializing in all sections of the SAT® exam.

She loves to help students break through the “I can’t” mentality, helping them to methodically figure out how to tackle problems; students report her as being relatable, motivating, and helpful.

Swetha Mulukutla

SAT® AND ACT® SPECIALIST

Swetha is our SAT® and ACT® Queen Bee, specializing in all sections of both exams.

Jed Levine

SAT® SPECIALIST

"Mr. Jed," as he is fondly called by his students, is a dedicated SAT® expert with over two decades of experience helping students master the test and achieve their highest goals. He has worked in both public and private education, focusing on structured, strategy-driven test preparation to help students boost their scores and build confidence.

Jed's approach emphasizes targeted strategies for each section of the SAT®, time-efficient problem-solving techniques, and test-taking stamina to ensure students perform at their best on test day. With a background in education and social services, he connects with students on a deeper level, motivating them and tailoring lessons to their individual strengths and challenges for optimal results.

Theresa West Mautner

SAT® AND ACT® SPECIALIST

Theresa is an SAT® and ACT® expert in all sections of each test. She has tutored since 2007, and her students have gone to attend prestigious schools including Yale and Harvard.

She believes that standardized tests are highly coachable, and she loves helping students achieve their potential. 

Jason Maynard

SAT® SPECIALIST

Jason is a full-time employee of ours, meaning he does test prep all day every day! He truly is the king of the SAT®, specializing in all sections of the SAT® exam. He has 3 years of full-time test prep experience, tutoring 25-35 hours a week with us.

He loves to make learning fun and break down concepts into bite-sized pieces and students report him as being personable, knowledgeable, and helpful.

THE FOUNDERS (J&J)

JOSH KARIYEV

Josh founded J&J Test Prep with the intention of making test prep modern and efficient.

A math whiz, Josh created J&J Test Prep’s math curriculum, carefully breaking down concepts into bite-sized pieces to ensure they are better understood by students; his unique methods give students many of their first “aha” moments in math.

Josh co-developed No B.S. SAT® Prep, an online digital SAT® prep program that is used by tutors, programs, and schools nationwide. Josh coded the platform and designed its interface.

JACKIE POLLINA

Jackie founded J&J Test Prep with the intention of making test prep fun and manageable for students.

Throughout her years managing J&J Test Prep, Jackie has amassed a following of nearly 300,000 on @testpreptips, her TikTok account focused on test prep.

Jackie co-developed No B.S. SAT® Prep, an online digital SAT® prep program that is used by tutors, programs, and schools nationwide. Jackie created the English curriculum and filmed all the video content.
